As I wake something just beyond my reach fades away
I can’t see, hiding in the sheets from the light of day
I remember you near me
I remember it clearly
Can it be, you were here?
As I wake someone from another place drifts away
Leaving me, moving on, you leave a smile upon my face
You stopped by just to see me
You had something to tell me
“I am fine. All is well”
